"I had been struggling with severe Post-Inflammatory Erythema (PIE) and Post-Inflammatory Hyperpigmentation (PIH) on my chest, which resulted from acne and a bad steroid injection. Some areas became dented, thinned, and red with visible vascular veins. I visited several other dermatologists who recommended laser treatments and chemical peels, but these either didn’t help or made the condition worse.Dr. Alison Kang is an expert who immediately understood how to treat my skin. After about 4-5 laser treatment sessions over a few months, combined with prescribed medications, my chest skin is completely cleared up and looks clearer than ever - something I never thought would be possible again!I’m beyond grateful for Dr. Kang’s expertise and highly recommend her to anyone dealing with difficult skin conditions."

She will not offer anything at her clinic just coz they are hot on social media or among influencers. She only offers the most effective and affordable treatment options. "I can’t say enough about Prestige Dermatology practice. The receptionist was kind and Dr. Kang was just amazing! I called on Friday and was lucky to get an appointment the very next day since someone canceled. I was late to my appointment due to road closures and called the office to tell them and the girl was so understanding and told me to get there as soon as I can. When I got there, the girl checked me in and Dr.Kang came and was extremely friendly and very efficiently took care of my problem. I would definitely go back to her."

"My daughter who is a family practice Dr referred me to Dr. Kang. Being an old fart getting me to a Doctor is tough but I went. I was pleasantly surprised. Dr. Kang's staff is polite and knowledgeable. Dr. Kang is conscientious and caring. On top of that she sells the same sun block my other daughter buys on line for the same price. So now my daughter and I can both get it locally. My wife bonded with Dr. Kang over K dramas they watch. So bottom line she is excellent with an excellent staff. "My experience at Prestige Cosmetic Dermatology was better than I could have imagined. The girls at the front desk are so friendly and kind. Dr. Kang answered all my questions and reassured me throughout my procedure. She also gave me advice for how to care for my skin to prevent future issues. I’m so glad that they were able to do my procedure same day and at a reasonable price. Doctor’s appointments can make me nervous especially when it comes to a procedure. From my first contact with Sabrina on the telephone, to meeting Dr. Kang's assistant Jada, this is what you hope every office's staff will be like--genuinely friendly, pleasant and efficient. Then we met Dr. Kang and she was beyond expectations. She is warm, caring, and smart, and we knew right away we could trust her with our health.So many dermatologists make you feel rushed. But Dr. Kang genuinely makes you feel relaxed. We were able to write out all our concerns in her online questionnaire days before the appointment, so she knew our history. And Jada also did intake, asking what we needed from the visit. Sometimes when you see a dermatologist they only want to hear one concern. Often you're told to come back for another visit to do the treatment. But she addressed what we each needed at that visit. She is the first dermatologist to diagnose one issue that others have not. And her technique is so skilled, we didn't feel any pain. Both Jada and Dr. Kang also gave us specific at-home instructions. "I visited to treat my child's atopic dermatitis and my husband's boils. The newly opened hospital was very clean and comfortable, and Dr. Kang provided quick, detailed, and kind treatment. Highly recommended for dermatological treatment and procedures! Dr. Kang is very kind, caring, professional and efficient. We visited the clinic to treat my son's atopic dermatitis and to get rid of my husband's great big abscess on his arm, and I was 100% satisfied! When I visited other dermatologists (I have visited more than 5 dermatologists in various areas including Seoul, Mexico City, and LA so far), they only prescribed steroid creams and were reluctant to use them frequently on young children, but Dr. Kang said that if you use steroid creams frequently, your skin will improve. He said it would make me thinner and prescribed an ointment that moisturizes well but does not contain steroids, so I am using it freely. My husband's boil was almost 10 years old, and they removed it so quickly and easily that he is now recovering safely."

"Dr. Kang, the director of this hospital, is a very excellent doctor. He is a patient-centered doctor and provides treatment that puts patients first. I went to the doctor for a boil on my buttocks, and he prescribed meds for a week and said that if I take the prescribed meds for just one week, it will heal. However, it wasn't completely cured so I called and asked how much better I was and when I was told it was about 70% cured, he told me to take it for one more week and prescribed the same medication and sent the prescription to the pharmacy. I went to the pharmacy and bought the medication and it was cured in one week. If it were doctors at other hospitals, they would have told me to come back to the hospital to increase the hospital's income, but Dr. Kang didn't do that. How cool is this? The young person speaks Korean fluently, so it is very convenient and good for Korean people to provide treatment. Also, the friendliness is the best."

I opted to not go to Kaiser because they make me try every ointment (that doesn't work) rather then refer me to Dermatology for treatment. Dr. Kang prescribed me medication and in 1 week my forehead is normal again and not red and without pustules. The gel had 3 components that addressed all aspects of my skin. "If you’re looking for a one stop shop for your cosmetic and dermatological needs, this is the place to visit. I nervously came in to see Dr. Kang for my first time lip filler and she made me feel so comfortable. Dr. Kang explained the entire treatment to me including what to expect and answered all my questions. During the treatment, she helped ease the pain by icing my lips prior to injecting to make it more comfortable. We opted for using a cannula because of the prominent blood vessels I had around my lips. The benefit of this was less bruising and less chance of getting any filler into the vessels. I am so inlove with my new lips as they still look very natural and not overly done. It turned out exactly as I wanted, and better! I have been to other dermatologists for this in the past and not one has done the excellent job that she did. I left there wondering why the others couldn't have done this in the past. And her schedule allowed me to come there on a Saturday which made it easier for me to not take time off from work. Thank you"

"Dr. Kang performed surgery to remove a SCC on my chest bone several years ago in Mill Valley. It was a difficult place because I’m skinny and there’s not much flesh to work with in that area.
