What Can I Expect From Unwanted Growth Removal?
Most moles and lesions do not need treatment unless they become suspicious or cancerous, or if they cause discomfort, irritation, or cosmetic problems. In these situations, Dr. Kang may recommend removal. For surgical excision, the region around the mole will be numbed with a local anesthetic, and a scalpel or similar device is used to eliminate the mole and a bit of the surrounding skin cells. The wound will then be closed with stitches. Sometimes, when the mole or lesion is at the surface level, a surgical shave could be performed where the region is numbed and a small blade is used to cut around and beneath the target tissue. Stitches aren't required for this procedure. Dr. Kang may also recommend laser treatments, cryosurgery or electrosurgery to minimize symptoms or the appearance of lesions.

I can’t say enough about Prestige Dermatology practice. The receptionist was kind and Dr. Kang was just amazing! I called on Friday and was lucky to get an appointment the very next day since someone canceled. I was late to my appointment due to road closures and called the office to tell them and the girl was so understanding and told me to get there as soon as I can. When I got there, the girl checked me in and Dr.Kang came and was extremely friendly and very efficiently took care of my problem. I would definitely go back to her.
I went to Dr. Kang to remove a mole. I could have used my insurance but I didn't want to wait for a referral to go to a dermatologist so I decided to pay cash. It was worth it! Quick, too the point, didn't hurt, and just like that... nickel size mole on my head was gone. Even after the local anesthesia wore off, no pain at all. Highly recommended Dr. Kang. Her staff are super sweet as well

So now my daughter and I can both get it locally. My wife bonded with Dr. Kang over K dramas they watch. So bottom line she is excellent with an excellent staff.
